The following crimes are from the week of Nov. 28 to Dec. 4, 2010.

Nov. 28. Germantown and Hartwell Lane. Complainant states he was out walking when one of three black men snatched his cell phone and they all started to run. Complainant chased them and got his phone back, but injured his right hand and leg. First male, tall, dark complexion, wearing light jeans. Second male wearing a heavy gray sweatshirt, blue jeans and white sneakers. Third male, 16 to 20 years old, wearing a white shirt, blue jeans and white sneakers. Occurred at 4:15 p.m.

Nov. 28. Wyndmoor Station and Willow Grove Ave. Complainant and friend were walking when they were approached by offender who shouted “Max, we need to talk about my money.” Offender then pulled out a small black pocket knife and demanded compensation for money which he said was owed to him. Witness complied and gave him his cell phone and iPod. Reported at 1:36 p.m.

Nov. 28. 400 block Gate Lane. Complainant states he left his 2007 silver Infinity M45 unlocked and an unknown person stole a pair of sunglasses.

Dec. 1. 7800 block Ardleigh Street. Complainant states that between 11:30 and 6 p.m. on Dec. 1, an unknown person ransacked the interior of a 2006 Ford Escape and stole one iPod, registration card, insurance card and one stethoscope.

Dec. 1. 7700 block Devon Street. Between 9 p.m. on Nov. 30 and 6 a.m. on Dec. 1, an unknown person broke the passenger side window of a 2004 Nissan and stole an MP3 player and global positioning system.

Dec. 1. 8000 Navajo Street. Complainant states that an unknown person entered a 2008 Honda Pilot and stole a wallet containing loose change and money. Reported at 7 p.m.

Dec. 1. 8000 Seminole Street. Police responded to a radio call and upon arrival they spoke to complainant who stated that an unknown person broke out glass to rear door, gained entry and went up to third floor bedroom and stole unknown items from drawers. It is unknown at this time what was taken.

Dec. 3. Unit block E. Mermaid Lane. Complainant states that between 5 p.m. on Dec. 2 and 7:15 a.m. on Dec. 3, an unknown person gained entry to a 1996 GMC. Another car at that location was broken into between 4:30 p.m. on Dec. 2 and 7:15 a.m. on Dec. 3., and  second complainant states that an unknown person stole chainsaws and Redman saddle hooks and various tools.

Summary — Ten crimes for week: two robberies, one burglary and seven thefts from vehicles.
