The following crimes are from the week of Nov. 14 to Nov. 20, 2010.

Nov. 14. 7700 block Stenton Avenue. Complainant states that between 8:30 p.m. on Nov. 13 and 1 a.m. on Nov. 14, an unknown person broke the driver’s side window of a white 2004 Chevy Venture and stole the global positioning system.

Nov. 15. 7700 block Stenton Avenue. Complainant states that between 5 p.m. on Nov. 14 and 2 p.m. on Nov. 15, an unknown person broke the passenger side front window of a gray 2004 Toyota Scion and stole the global positioning system and a black jacket.

Nov. 15. 200 block E. Willow Grove Avenue. Complainant states that when she returned home she noticed bedroom window open more than when she left and several items missing. Taken was a Dell Inspiron computer and charger and one digital camera and charger. Reported at 5:55 p.m.

Nov. 18. 8200 block Seminole Avenue. Complainant states that she had package mailed by department store via Fed Express and she never received shipment. She did find empty box in her front yard.

Nov. 19. Bells Mill Road and Forbidden Drive. Complainant states that between 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m., an unknown person damaged driver side door lock and stole a black purse containing a wallet with various credit cards, identification, and gift cards. Also taken was one Kodak digital camera and an iPod.

Nov. 20. 8100 block Germantown Avenue. Complainant states that a male came into store and stole a cameo brooch. Black male, 6’6” tall, thin build, 220 lbs., wearing blue jeans and a black jacket.

Summary — Six crimes for week: one burglary, two thefts and three thefts from vehicles.

Remember to keep doors and windows locked to your home and vehicle.
