The following crimes are from the week of Nov. 7 to Nov. 13, 2010.

Nov. 7. 8000 block Anderson Street. Between 12 p.m. on Nov. 5 and 6 p.m. on Nov. 7, an unknown person gained entry by prying open bedroom door.

Nov. 10. Unit block W. Highland Avenue. Complainant states that an unknown person broke the right front window of a 1999 Volkswagen Passant and stole a wallet containing a Pennsylvania driver’s license. Reported at 12 p.m.

Nov. 10. 200 block W. Willow Grove Avenue. Complainant states that an unknown person broke the driver side rear window of a Dodge and stole a wallet containing a driver’s license, bank card and money. Reported at 7 a.m.

Nov. 10. 100 block Meade Street. Between 10 p.m. on Nov. 9 and Nov. 10, an unknown person broke the passenger side rear window of a black 2010 Chevy Equinox and stole a GPS, sunglasses and an iPod.

Nov. 10. 7600 block Winston Road. Between 1 a.m. and 10 a.m., an unknown person took assorted liquor and change from property.

Nov. 10. 200 block W. Highland Avenue. Complainant states that an unknown person broke the driver side window of a 2008 Ford F250 and cut himself and left blood on console. Taken was change.

Nov. 10. 8000 block Seminole Avenue. Complainant states that an unknown person broke the driver side rear window and stole a Dell laptop with carrying case. Reported at 6 p.m.

Nov. 13. 7900 block Stenton Avenue. Complainant states that an unknown person broke the right front window of a Burgundy Mitsubishi and stole a car radio. Reported at 8:30 p.m.

Summary — Eight crimes for week: two burglaries and six thefts from vehicles.

Keep those doors and windows to home and vehicles locked. Locking the car and leaving a $5 bill on console is a great invitation to have window broken. Keep everything out of car and in trunk.
