Nov. 1. 8000 block Germantown Avenue. Complainant states he arrived at about 12 a.m. to open bar and found small kitchen window broken and ripped out of frame. Window was found in rear parking lot. Complainant found safe deposit box pried open.

Nov. 1. 8100 block Germantown Avenue. Police arrived at location and found front door forced open. Offender, black or Hispanic male, 6’ tall, wearing a gray hoodie, blue jeans with white sneakers and wearing black gloves.

Nov. 8. Unit block Valley Green Road. Complainant states that an unknown person entered a 2006 Infinity and stole three credit cards. Reported at 4:30 p.m.

Nov. 6. 8400 block Anderson Street. Between 8:30 a.m. and 8:30 p.m., an unknown person entered home through an unlocked living room window and stole a Toshiba laptop computer and two college rings.

Nov. 6. 8100 block Ardleigh Street. Complainant states that he unloaded two suitcases in front of home and then went to park vehicle. When he returned a few minutes later both suitcases were gone.

Summary — Five crimes for week: three burglaries, one theft and one theft from vehicle. Be sure to lock cars, doors and windows.
